Letter Art | Get crafty with your walls

After I finished my wallpaper storage solution behind the door of my office, I moved on to the walls, which were a clean slate. I envisioned a collage of frames (to come on a later post), but I wanted to break it up with something more organic. I LOVE vintage lettering from old store signs but they are quite expensive. So I asked myself how I could do a DIY solution. This idea was inspired from the pom poms I made last spring with my kids. Super easy to do, you can customize the font and letter you want. Here, I have chosen to do the first letter in my company logo and I love the results. This would be fantastic for a kid’s room using their initials. Happy DIY’ing!

DIY Heart-Shaped Photo Display

Just in time for Valentine’s Day! (Although it was actually inspired by something else altogether.) A heart-shaped photo display.

Dirt-cheap, easy, a great conversation piece, and a lovely way to reflect on the past year.

Kids Valentine Cards | It’s a candy-free zone

Little plastic creatures from the dollar store are my fave kid’s craft element. You may have seen them on most of my cupcakes?? Here are three fun, healthy Valentines.

Crafting & gift wrap centre | Organize your life!

This new year I set a goal to finally finish setting up my office. I’m a freelance graphic designer so I work both from home and at agencies in-house. When I’m at home I want my office to be a place where I can focus on work. Currently, it’s a catch-all, where we throw clean laundry to fold, store any kids projects we want to keep, hold unused wrapping paper, store crafting supplies. Last year was incredibly busy, so my office has taken over a year to finish. This year, my first project was creating a craft and gift-wrapping area. Since my office is small, the only place I had for it was behind the door.

Below you will find a step-by-step guide to how I created my fabulous crafting and wrapping supplies station. Happy organizing!
