Summer’s still here and I’m running out of cute, comfy, breezy tops. So, what do I do? Find some more scarves, a thread and needle, and get sewing! This is a more fitted top to show off your summer curves. Get out there and invest in some scarves and you’ll never run out of clothes.

With all these wonderful sunny days, it’s a great time for a picnic. We had all the treats and drinks, but nothing to put them in. So, I thought I’d get crafty and transform and old, empty diaper box into a picnic basket. With the material and trimmings I chose, it’s a bit glitzy – sort of “Liberace goes picnicking,” but you can choose material to make it your own, and tamp down the fabulousness a bit.

I was preparing to go out to a concert last week and, searching for a purse, I realized they were all too bulky to hold for 2 hours, or too small to contain my phone, keys, lipstick, etc. With a couple of hours before I had to pick the kids up from school, I decided to whip up a cool clutch. Easy to make but good looking, this clutch can be made in a variety of shapes, sizes, and patterns. It all depends on the size of zipper you have and your own personal style.
