Tween Dream Pillows | Basic Sewing

You’d be surprised at the amount of homework and activities a tween girl can have. Between getting all “A”s in school and going to archery lessons (ahh Katniss – inspiration to tweens far and wide), Colleen’s daughter needs all the sleep she can get. Hallowe’en is almost over for another year, but I wanted to add to the spookiness of our lawn before the Trick-or-Treaters arrive. Some might say that the un-mowed grass is scary enough, but I think that what it needs is…ghosts!

This crafty decoration is easy enough for even the youngest kids. You’ll just have to help out with a few things, but they can create the creepy, scary, ghostly faces!

My friend Alice is a huge foodie. She always has a story about a delicious dish she has just “whipped up.” Alice’s love of cooking started at an early age.
