Hearts String | Valentine Garland

With some sadness, I removed my Christmas garland and cards from the kitchen window suddenly leaving it rather naked. It was then that I decided we needed a Valentine’s garland to cushion my post-Christmas-decor-removal-blues. A few hours of felt cutting,  hand stitching and mini pompom-making later my window was smiling again.

Holiday Monogram

I have to admit: I have a thing for type. Lovely fonts, beautifully monogrammed initials, a simple, beautiful letter. You can add them to a gallery wall, tuck them into a display of objects, or add them to a mantle. So why not at the holidays too? I crafted these simple, graphic letters that you could add to a wreath or display on a mantle with mini baubles, just the right amount of graphic bling to accent your decor. Add some lights if you like, and you’ll be loving letters too.

Cookie Auction | Raising money with holiday spirit

It’s a new kind of cookie exchange! This holiday season consider doing a cookie auction with your workplace and donate the proceeds to good cause. One of my favourite charities is Holiday Helpers. Last year they raised enough funds to give 382 families a fully decorated tree, grocery cards for a turkey dinner, and customized holiday gifts for each member of the family!
