Promotional Bunting

With one of my other endeavours, The Westside’s Story, I hosted a Day Camp Fair a couple of weeks ago. I was looking for something really dynamic to go in the window as promotion for the event. And then I thought, why not get crafty? So I whipped up some basic, construction paper bunting. This is so easy, and can be used for a myriad of occasions, including birthdays, celebrations, and personal declarations for Valentine’s Day (e.g. I LOVE [lover’s name here] displayed prominently in your front window to embarrass your spouse)!

This spring we took the kids on a family vacation to Paris. While on this trip we did a scavenger hunt at the Louvre where we competed against other families. So I designed us some team uniforms. But they are easily adaptable for Canada day.

Father’s Day Goody Box and Treats

Can’t think of what to get or make Dad for Father’s Day? How about a themed box of treats, or replace the goodies with any small gifts. I used fabric with an “outdoorsy” theme to cover  this box, but there are also lots of different, typical, Dad-themed fabrics and gifts wraps which could also be used.
