Barbie Dollhouse

My 8 year old daughter was “dying” for a Barbie house.  She has had two different ones over the years, but they were not great quality and didn’t last long. I decided to make a sturdy wooden Barbie house that we can keep and hopefully pass on to other kids in our family.

Soft Bike Basket

Spring is here and it’s time to get outside and get active. My little one is learning how to ride a balance bike, and part of the fun of getting your first bike is kitting it out with all the bells and whistles (literally). Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of little boy accessories, so I promised him I would make him his own little basket so all his stuffies and toy cars can go for a ride, too.

Viking Training I Distressed Birthday Invitation

Hurray, it’s birthday time again! My daughter Calla is turning 9 and she always chooses a theme. This year she wanted it to be “How to Train Your Dragon” and have it at Laser Quest. I’m not a writer by trade, but I did have fun writing the copy. I’m sure however if you asked a real historian (sorry Dad) I’m sure they would take offence to my misappropriation of some words. My daughter loved it though, and I think that’s what matters most!
